University of Layyah is the newly established University of the Southern Punjab – envisioned to “provide state of the art systems and dynamic leadership in the various fields of life through extensive learning and research activities, and promoting entrepreneurship and professional services”. University aspires to meet its enchanting mission through the world-class faculty highly qualified in academics and research to meet the global challenges.

It’s indeed an honor for me to be the Vice Chancellor of the University of Layyah (UL), Layyah. It was my passion to lead an institute of higher learning engaged in enlightening the youth to have a well-lived life alongwith opportunities for entrepreneurship and employment. We are South Punjab’s precursor organization and hoping that you’ll be persuaded by the engrossing exposure that makes UL a leading institute in this growing world. Since, we are the community to re-think, re-adapt and re-learn the innovative ways to be sentient in this era of complex societal challenges.

I will try to contribute all my efforts to make this University the best one by enabling students and faculty through modern teaching methods, practical education & collaborative research across the spectrum of challenges and opportunities prevailing over the globe. At UL, it is just our begin; hence, we are moving boldly and believe that we have the power of capacity building amongst the people of this region.

I welcome you to learn, explore and grow with the latest, updated and sustainability-oriented knowledge and skills to meet the competitive challenges of this modern era. We are on way for recruitment of the competent faculty having foreign as well as local degrees supplemented with vast experience in reconstructive teaching and research. Alongside, we are building state of the art classrooms and infrastructure to make it a state-of-the-art university. You people will find all facilities at University of Layyah at par with top-ranked universities across the globe.

At University of Layyah, we have a goal to work in partnership with national as well as international educational organizations and communities to make a difference at national and international level.
