Program Overview

The M.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture in Entomology degree offers advanced study into insect biology, taxonomy, toxicology, and ecology. The program focuses on sustainable Integrated Pest Management (IPM), biological control mechanisms, insect-plant interactions, and pesticide safety to mitigate agricultural yield losses caused by pests while safeguarding the environment.

Admission Criteria

  • B.Sc. Hons in any major of Agriculture OR BS Animal Science/ Zoology/Biological Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Parasitology or equivalent
  • Minimum CGPA of 2.50 / 4.00 or 60% marks in aggregate.
  • Clearance of Departmental Entry Test / Interview.
