On 13 November 2025, the 5th meeting of the UL Syndicate was successfully convened at the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) in Lahore.

​Highlights of the Meeting:
*​Approval of the roadmap for the hiring of Principal Officers, including Registrar, Treasurer, and Controller of Examinations.
*Approval of numerous high-level committees established for the swift and merit-based hiring of faculty and staff.
*Approval of the annual budget for the university.
*Approvals for the members of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research, various Boards of Faculties, and Boards of Studies.
​*Approval of various crucial policies, including those related to Drugs and Tobacco Control, and the HEC Journals and Publications.
